Eletrobras (Brazilian Electricity Company) is a large Brazilian electric utility group. Headquartered in Rio de Janeiro. As a major electricity company in Latin America, its business spans the globe—it is not only the world's tenth-largest electricity group but also ranks among the world's top four clean energy companies. This electricity holding group occupies an important position in the Brazilian electricity industry and is one of the country's largest power generation and transmission companies.

Through its participation in numerous Brazilian local electricity companies, Eletrobras has built a nationwide energy network, generating about 40% of Brazil's total electricity and accounting for 69% of transmission. The company's total installed capacity is approximately 51,000 megawatts, most of which comes from hydroelectric power plants, fully demonstrating Brazil's resource advantages in hydropower development.
