Description
Current-limiting reactor
Up to 500 kV
The current-limiting reactor is connected in series with the power system. Its purpose is to reduce the short-circuit current resulting from factory expansion and the addition of power sources to a level that the existing transmission and distribution equipment can adequately handle.
Operating Conditions
Location: Indoor or outdoor
Ambient temperature: -40℃~+50℃ (as per customer requirements)
Altitude: ≤3000 meters (as per customer requirements)
Maximum wind speed: 45 meters/second (as per customer requirements)
Relative humidity: ≤90%
Seismic resistance: Horizontal 0.30g (as per customer requirements)
Vertical 0.15g (as per customer requirements)
Indoor use requires attention to ventilation.
The installation location must be clean and free of harmful gases, vapors, conductive materials, and explosive dust.
Related Solutions
A novel parallel reactor is connected to the power system in a parallel configuration to compensate for capacitive reactive power in the transmission and distribution system.
The smoothing reactor is connected in series with the DC high-voltage line, acting as both part of the converter station and a back-to-back interconnection between different
The converter reactor is located between the flexible DC converter valve and the connecting transformer. It can be installed on either the DC side or the AC side of the converter valve.
