Clients Visit DKNC Smart Breather Plant, Unanimously Praise Innovative Technology and Superior Performance
Recently, a group of international power industry clients visited the production facility of Beijing Electric Power and Energy Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. (DKNC), focusing on the company’s innovative Intelligent Monitoring Maintenance-Free Breather for transformers.
During the tour, clients received a detailed presentation on the product’s core technologies. The DKNC breather features a completely new design with digitalization and visualization capabilities, including a 4.3-inch LCD screen that displays all key parameters clearly. Notably, it utilizes Active Regeneration Technology, which allows silica gel reactivation even when the transformer is not breathing, effectively solving the moisture removal inefficiency of traditional breathers under low or intermittent flow conditions.
Clients showed great interest in the Multi-Sensor Precision Monitoring System, which uses imported sensors to track temperature, humidity, air pressure, air quality, and breathing flow rate in real time. This system monitors both the breather’s status and the transformer’s breathing conditions, significantly enhancing reliability and safety.
Additionally, the breather supports Geo-Adaptive Operation and Advanced AI Analytics (optional), enabling it to adjust strategies based on local weather conditions and perform big-data analysis to assess transformer breathing patterns, silica gel moisture absorption capacity, and conservator membrane failure risks.
During the factory walkthrough, clients highly appreciated the Mutually Exclusive Solenoid Valve design, which remains normally open during power outages, fundamentally preventing pipeline blockages and ensuring transformer safety under extreme conditions.
The product also offers multiple working modes—Intelligent, Automatic, Safety, and Manual—allowing flexible operation based on user needs, which greatly improves adaptability and user experience.
After the visit, clients unanimously agreed that DKNC’s intelligent breather not only leads the market in technology but also significantly reduces long-term maintenance costs and operational risks thanks to its maintenance-free design, high reliability, and smart features. Many expressed strong interest in future collaboration and planned to introduce the product into their national power systems.
