Case Details
Participation in the Guquan High-Voltage Converter Station project, which involves voltage levels up to ±1100 kilovolts
On the morning of December 9, 2022, the 2022 China Quality Association Annual Conference was held in Beijing, with the theme of "Creating a New Future for High-Quality Development: New Fields, New Elements, and New Practices". The Guquan ±1100 kV ultra-high voltage converter station, designed by China Energy Engineering Corporation Anhui Institute and constructed by China Energy Engineering Construction Group, won the "National Quality Award for Excellent Projects".
Our company provided four ultra-high voltage reactors for the Guquan ultra-high voltage converter station project, all of which have operated safely and stably, providing strong support. This project has previously been awarded the "Classic Engineering" for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the National Excellent Gold Award, and the International Project Excellence Management Award.
"The National Quality Award" is a prestigious quality award approved by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, and undertaken by the China Quality Association. It is awarded to organizations, projects, teams, and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the implementation of the national quality strategy. It is known as the "Oscar" of China's quality industry and is considered one of the "world's four major quality awards" along with the U.S. Baldrige National Quality Award, the European EFQM Global Excellence Award, and the Japan Deming Prize.
