Ningde Xiapu Energy Storage Project: A Major Step Towards Gigawatt-Level

DKNC participating in the construction of a large-scale independent energy storage power station in China—the Fujian Gigawatt-level Ningde Xiapu Energy Storage Project—marks a significant milestone in the field of advanced energy storage infrastructure.

This project is situated to the west of Yu Yangli Village, Changchun Town, Xiapu County, Fujian Province. It is designed as a large-scale, independent electrochemical energy storage power station specializing in the development, construction, operation, and maintenance of cutting-edge power storage facilities. The station will provide comprehensive energy storage solutions, including integrated R&D, system debugging, and technical support services tailored for comprehensive energy management.

The project is structured into three phases, with a total planned capacity of 240MW/420MWh and a total investment of approximately 1.3 billion RMB. It occupies a total land area of 34,254.41 square meters. As part of its core offerings, the project will utilize high-performance lithium-ion battery technology and intelligent energy management systems to enhance grid stability, support renewable energy integration, and improve peak shaving and frequency regulation capabilities.

This initiative represents not only a major advancement in energy storage technology but also reinforces our commitment to delivering innovative, sustainable, and efficient energy storage products and solutions—driving the future of smart energy across China.
